Go Red or Go Home!

Science fact of the day: One day on Mercury lasts approximately 1408 hours... also known as the equivalent to one Monday on Earth! All kidding aside, I truly believe that your day is what you make of it, a bit of styling and fashion can save your mood so that you don't develop what's known as Monday Blues! I love these skinny black jeans more than life itself! Matched with a red striped tee from Topshop and my oh so delightful white shoes from Deichman, I feel cooler by the second! My lovely leather bag was just £1 from a car boot sale! Car boots champion again! My hat is from a cute little souvenir shop in Palma, and my necklace ( with personalised names) is from eBay, and I adore it! Hmm, maybe Mondays aren't too bad...

FRIDAY'S YELLOW/ TAN AND BLACK ENSEMBLE!

Happy Monday all! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was a very busy one with a fashion show for Pretty Disturbia on Friday night, followed by attending and selling Pretty Disturbia direct to the public at the Alternative and Burlesque show at Sound Control on Saturday. Both were a big success and a lot of fun! I wore this on Friday which consists of a black polo neck knitted dress which I wore with some knitted patterned leggings from Ebay with my Office tan boots, Yellow Topshop jacket and a chunky bondage belt to cinch in my waist. I accessorised with a diamante bangle and my red heart ring...

A SULTRY CLEOPATRA ELIZABETH TAYLOR STYLE!

Not a usual day outfit for me! I donned this fab, Cleopatra style outfit for a friends birthday party last Saturday! I already owned everything I'm wearing for the outfit except for the headress! madness indeed. My top is from Morgan which I bought from Ebay and my skirt was £1 from an old fashion grannie shop which I bought many moons ago! I accessorised with a vintage gold and silver waspie belt teamed with a gold necklace round my arm and an official Egyptian necklace which I bought years ago on holiday in Egypt. The Headress was £5 on Ebay and my sandals from Primark! I loved being Cleopatra and would seriously love to wear this everyday if I could!

I popped on some purple leggings and a bright blue mini skirt which was £8 from Ebay with my over the knee, Dune boots. That really is A-lot of colour going on! haha.

A SHOW GIRL FEATHER HEAD DRESS & HOT PINK BALL GOWN!

Well, its not every day you get to wear an outfit like this, in fact it comes once a decade for me. I say that because I last wore this hot pink ballgown at my 21st birthday party! Now 10 years on, I though I'd celebrate the fact I'm 31 and still fit in this lovely dress from Paris! (which cost me £80 on a university trip...and for which I did'nt eat so I could afford to buy it!) So.... I celebrated a joint masquerade party at my apartment, and twas a grand evening indeed! I wore the mighty fine, decade old dress, with some matching hot pink satin gloves from ebay, with an eyemask and feather head dress from a Masquerade online shop as well as this gorgeous feather cape from Accessorize, which was £15 in the sale, and it matched the head dress perfectly! ( I knew it would come in handy one day!)
Oh, how I do love to dress up!....

VINTAGE STRIPES, CHUNKY BELTS & A NECK TIE!

I don't know about you but I'm exhausted today- and I had Yesterday off work! Although I was up at 6am, off to Alton Towers, got stuck on a cable car and then had a meal out and drinking until 2am! and thats just Yesterday...... Lordy indeed!
Anywho, I wore this lovely vintage striped dress the other day which was from ebay for just £8. Its a tad on the long side so I hitched it up with this chunky black patent leather belt. I popped on my beige boots and accessorised only with a big chunky sequin ring which was £5 from the Manchester Fashion Network Sample Sale. I love the neck bow on this dress as its attached so I don't lose it in the wash- I have a tendancy to do that! Accessories that are attached- I love the idea.
