Wedding Bells

I wore this for a friends wedding on Sunday! It consists of this pretty vintage dress which I teamed with a pd petticoat £23 http://www.prettydisturbia.com/product/prettty-disturbia-red-pinup-rockabilly-petticoat-skirt. I popped on my Morgan pvc jacket and this 80's vintage hat to top it off...my shoes are from Next.
I look pretty smart considering I got ready into this whilst camping at a campsite in the rain! Haha

BIKER JACKETS, COWBOY BOOTS & A HEADBAND!

Sadly, this is going to be one of my last blog posts on this layout, due to moving to a new fancy pants apartment- I now have a new hall way to take pics in!

So, anywho- I wore this last week when It rained down hard in Manchester!
It consists of a some classic grey marl leggings, teamed with this lovely backless dress which was £2 on ebay. It was quite a long length so I shortened the hem! The belt is also part of the dress. I accessorised with a vintage diamante brooch and a pink, animal print headscarf, with my much loved biker style jacket which I bought from Morgan, many moons ago when I used to work there. I finished off the look with my worn and tatty, leather cowboy boots and of course an umbrella! ;)

EBAY BARGAINS & MOODY FACES!

I look moody as hell on the picture, and I really was'nt feeling it! haha.. O well. It seems I have another thing for animal print again, thus I wear it again- 2 days running!

The top, which you can hardly see is from Topshop and was about £30, I added a white leather belt from River island, with a tutu skirt from Topshop, patterned tights and this new jacket which I bought from Ebay for just £15 and it is one I always wanted from Morgan when I worked there as a teenager but could'nt afford it at £80! I'm so pleased I finally own one- although my expression hardly reflects that!! Anywho, I wore my black rose ring and some over the knee black boots to finish off the outfit!
Now... Time to pack, I'm off to London tonight to (hopefully) meet Grace Jones. TRES excited.

BACK TO BLACK & ANIMAL PRINT!

Last night I wore this little black outfit to my Dads 60th Birthday meal! You know your truly old when your dad gets a free bus pass... doh.

Anywho, I wore this gorgeous Pencil skirt which I've had years from Jane Norman, teamed with a black vest from Morgan (£19.99- bought back in the day!) with my fave, funky Morgan leather look jacket (which was £80.00)
I accessorised with a few touches of animal print- in the form of this vintage belt which was just 20p on a car boot sale- talk about cheap! I added this simple vintage brown neck scarf, some pointy animal print boots from Office and this DKNY bag which I heart... and of course a little touch of red on the lips and nails! ;)

MONOCHROME 50'S AMERICANA!

Sadly, this outfit is what I wore to Yesterdays funeral. The lovely person who died, loved to go out and party and only lived to the unfortunate age of 28. The dress code was black and white, party outfits to celebrate their life. Therefore, everyone who attended looked fabulous, despite all the tears.

I wore this black roll neck top, with a dress I picked up from a car boot sale for £1 (it is however, a George one) I teamed it with a white chunky leather belt, black boots and a vintage net underskirt (Which was £60) to create a 50's Vintage Americana look. I accessorised with a chunky black ring, silver bangle and diamante studs and popped on my well loved, Morgan mock leather jacket which I bought when I worked in Morgan as a sales assistant, (many moons ago). With 50% discount for working there, I did spend most of my wages at the time on some classic items that I still love and cherish, and really are timeless.....
