Okay, how fab is this kooky dress!? It was just £2 in the sale at Cow vintage, so I teamed it with a vintage net underskirt and put a lil brown bolero shrug underneath it for warmth! I accessorised simple with a chunky white leather belt which was £2 on a car boot sale and these A-mazing white leather cowboy boots... also from Cow vintage for just £8! It was my birthday eve afternoon when this pic was taken- thus the cheeky, excited happy smile and nice, newly dyed, straight hair! Yup, I got a lovely salon to use Ghds on it for me, as mine broke that morning!...

PURPLE & BLUE WITH PUNKY ZIPS, SNAKES AND CHUNKY CUFFS!
Happy Monday folks! Did you have a mighty fine weekend? I had a lovely relaxing one, starting with a trip to the gym in cowboy boots (Yep, I forgot my pumps- and that was'nt going to stop me exercising!) I rested and partied lots too, therefore feeling quite worse for wear this morning! Tut tut to being out so late dancing last night!
Anywho, This fab outfit was what I wore on Thursday last week, it consists of this fab Hennes purple polo neck with matching leggings, teamed with this lovely punky blue dress which I got from a friend at the clothes swapping party, I had a few weeks ago. I accesorised with some black and gold stud earrings to match this funky vintage style belt with snakes on, only costing 50p on a car boot sale with this other mighty great bargain bangle from Warehouse which was reduced to just £2 in the sale!! My boots were also half price in the January sales- £72.50 from Dune, to replace my fave Russell and Bromley ones which looked the same and recently died :( x weep....

Everyone thinks they've got good taste, because its well... their taste. However, I know my love for white boots is a bit- lot...wrong! I just can't help myself. The high shine navy leggings are from New look, my mini skirt- a present for Christmas, it barely covers my bum its so short! I teamed it with this stunning Ralph Lauren shirt and a pinstripe white and navy jacket which was another great present! This is about as Nautical as I'll ever look.....

A MUCH NEEDED MAKEOVER FOR MY BIRTHDAY!
Well, yep it was that time again where I turned a year older and celebrated it in many fun filled ways! I wore this on my actual birthday which was last Friday for a lunch date in Selfridges, a MAC makeover and then a sophisticated night out and a hotel in Chester, with of course lots of shopping fitted in and around it all.
I had such a fabulous day! The outfit consists fully of presents apart from my black satin, Pretty Disturbia neck bow- £5.99, and velvet boots which were £2 on a car boot sale- brand new and unworn! ....bargain. My gorgeous satin, animal print shirt is from Zara, the velvet pencil skirt from Republic (just £5 in the sale!!!) and the bag from the Lowry outlet centre! How I do love my animal prints... Oh and some falsh eyelashes/ professional make up to lift my 29+2 year old face!

FLARED JEANS, KITSCH BOWS & BRACES AND A SLASHED TOP!
I wore this yesterday for a 1970's kitsch relaxed denim look. I generally hate jeans, but have owned these primark flared jeans for many years and can't bear to part with them! I teamed them with these kooky gold braces which I picked up from a recent clothes swapping party with this slash arm long sleeve top and a vintage headscarf to accessorise. This fabulous black long sleeve top is a Pretty Disturbia best seller at just £26.99! we are also doing them in hot pink and baby blue for Spring! I can't wait to get my hands on them!

STRIPES, CHECKS AND CHUNKY BOOTS!
I'm loving the clashing prints trend at the mo, so mixed it all up a bit with this gold striped cropped jumper from Topshop, over a checked polo neck top from Zara. I teamed it with a vintage black mini body con skirt and some black tights with my much loved and practical, chunky boots. I accessorised with this 80's vintage zig zag brooch and a plum/ gold and silver waspie belt from primark to finish it off.

BIG GREEN SPARKLE AND SHINE!
I had no particular reason to dress up the Sunday I wore this but I thought why the heck not. The stunning vintage jacket/ blouse with sparkle was a much loved birthday present from my Mum which I teamed with a satin dress from New look- which was just £7 in the sale last year and I added some high shine leggings and a black rose brooch to finish it off. I popped my hair up inspired by Audrey hepburn in Paris when it sizzles- a fabulous film!
Anywho, I wore this out to the comedy store in Manchester for £2 test night and it was mucho fun! x

BIG 80S HAIR AND SHOULDER PADS WITH HOT PANTS!
Well, I wore this for a relaxing day of shopping round Manchester, I was dressed far too summery for the high winds that day and so I was freezing! I wore a cheap, market bargain poloneck top, which matched my jacket perfectly! ( I love it when that happens!) with some hot pants which were a present for christmas, teamed with some olive tights from Primark and some over the knee black boots. The jacket is a car boot vintage find for just £3.50! I accessorised with a yellow 80s vintage belt and a vintage YSL bag which I got from a dress agency for £50! ;) Ta da!...

WHITE BLOUSE & COW BOOTS WITH A TOUCH OF FLORAL!
I'm ahead of myself as I'm wearing this today and don't usually get to post what I'm wearing on the actual day itself! It's also a first for something else new, as I've sadly made myself my own birthday album today! (For my looming Birthday on Friday) How sad is that. Very, I can tell you! Especially as it full of Happy Birthday songs. Cheesy Happy Birthday Songs. Not the behaviour of a 31 year old to be really....but who cares!
The outfit consists of this lovely white satin blouse which is original 80s- a much appreciated Christmas present from my mum! with this floral print skirt which was 50p on a car boot sale! I teamed it with some high shine navy leggings from New Look and my vintage white cowboy which were £8 from COW vintage shop in Manchester. Lovely.

JACKIE KENNEDY STYLE OR JUST A BIT GRANNY?
Okay, so I've been heavily influenced on my love for 50's fashion after getting quite an obsession with watching Mad Men over Christmas. I mean, who does'nt want to look like Joan with her sexy curves and perfect make up?! Anywho, I realised how Jackie Kennedy style this pink shift dress was, which I bought for £5 from Retro Rehab, and having never worn it I thought a family Party over the holidays was just the occassion. I teamed it with some big silver stud earrings which were a gift, with some cream fishnet tights from Next and these pretty patent shoes which were from a cheap shoe shop in Manchester for just £10! ....They did however make my toes bleed but I felt like a glam granny all the same! ;)

A BIG GREEN CREPE VINTAGE DRESS & A TOUCH OF SNOW FOR £2!
Maybe on New years day I was sad that our Christmas tree died and was looking a lot like a "Pheobe" tree from friends so I decided to dress up as a Christmas tree to make up for it. This dress was just £2 from Retro Rehab in Manchester, which I bought in the sale. I've had it years and never got round to wearing it. As if I was'nt bright enough wearing head to toe bright green, I teamed it with touches of snow white in the form of white beads, a chunky leather white belt and some white flat leather shoes from New Look. O well, Its nice to dress up... and it is a festive ensemble after all ;)
