WEARING A MEN'S WHITE SHIRT AS A DRESS!

I look like a moody bum again don't I! doh... I would'nt mind, this pic was taken last Saturday when I had a lovely day planned so no reason for such sour faces! I wore this for a day of Go-Karting, followed by shopping at Cheshire Oaks. Lets just say I enjoyed the latter part of the day more than the first! hehe.
Anywho, My outfit consists of these lovely black velvet leggings, teamed with a vintage black polo neck. Over the top, I wore this mans shirt which I cut the sleeves off and frayed. It cost me £6 from Peacocks and was actually for a recent fashion shoot which I styled which I did'nt end up using. To glam it up a bit, I added my fave versace belt and some cheap vintage beads, and popped up the collar to make it a bit less manly! x

I started and ended mine at the Manchester Christmas markets, which I loved! with some Go-karting, Antiques shopping and a trip to Cheshire Oaks thrown in for good measure- where I picked up this bargainous £4 dress from Warehouse- not too shabby hey! I teamed it with some comfy black boots from Varanni in Manchester, this chunky grey belt from Ebay and this vintage necklace which I really should wear more often, and I have matching earrings to also. FESTIVE MINI'S, A VINTAGE SHIRT & LAYERED LEGGINGS!

I wore this yesterday as I was feeling all festive with the Christmas Markets opening in Manchester! How festive is velvet... and green velvet at that!! I got this fab lil Green mini skirt from the clothes swapping party last week! I teamed it with this much loved vintage shirt from Retro Rehab- which matches perfectly! Bonus!!! I wore 2 pairs of tights, as it was cold and I love to layer it up! Both pairs are from New look- one is bright blue with sparkle and then some lace ones over the top. I'm wearing brown boots too- just to add even more colour!
I had a great day in the office and then onto a promo event at Room, and onto the Christmas markets for my first mulled wine of the season! Now, where's my fur coat... I'm off to start the weekend at the markets again! Have a good one peeps! x

LIME (NOT YELLOW) AND HOT PINK FUSION!

I wore this last Saturday night for a mucho fun Engagement party and then onto Mint Lounge in the Northern Quarter. A great time was had, except for my aching party feet from dancing the night away.
So, This tres fabulous Lime green Gaga style dress is from ASOS but I got it from a clothes swapping party that day! I did debate with many people on the colour of the dress... and so I think like me, you will agree it is in fact Lime... and not yellow!
Anywho, as Lime ( and not yellow!) goes so well with hot pink, I donned some hot pink accessories including these satin armlets from Ebay, a vintage 80s belt from a Manchester Fashion Network Event and these vintage pink beads. I wore my high sine black leggings and high heel witchy boots, which I truly loathed by the end of the night!

LASHINGS OF PURPLE!

I'm really into purple at the moment, which may be because Christmas is fast approaching! Only 37 days to go! ;) I'm honestly so excited, I get butterflies!!!
Anywho, this outfit is a bit creative in the fact I've layered 2 pairs of leggings for a purple lace effect, Im wearing a black top I've had donkeys years and still love- with a cheap £5 dress from Shout, and this lovely purple skirt with gold buttons from New Look over the top, which I bought from a car boot sale for £3 and altered to fit me as it was initially far too big! I accesssorised with some big black and gold earrings from Hub and my Biba gold bracelet with my fave high heel lace up witchy boots. I matched my eyeshadow with purple accordingly and then I went out for a fabulous meal at my friends house, where we stayed up chatting until 2am... on a school night too... tut tut Leesa.

SOMEONE ELSES OUTFIT!

Yep, this really is someone else's outfit. I wore a black Pretty Disturbia drips dress with a suit jacket on Saturday to go to a Clothes swapping party, and so I came home in this- some of the goodies I picked up there! The animal print jeans are fab, I don't usually do jeans but I think these are fun and funky so an exception! The silver top is fab, although you can see my bra through it now I realise! hehe. I accessorised with this aqua belt and a chain belt which I wore as a necklace. The Biba bracelet and brown boots are both mine! I really can't recommend clothes swapping parties enough, as its good free, productive fun and can really revamp your wardrobe!

Anywho, I wore this yesterday for a relaxing Sunday round the shops, for a roast dinner out with friends and for some christmas wrapping/ making messy christmas baubles.
The outfit consists of this lovely little dress from Primark which I actually obtained at a Clothes swapping party on Saturday! (Twas mucho fun!!!) PRETTY DISTURBIA EYEBALL DRESS & BROWN LACE!

Happy Weekend eve peeps! I'm so excited for the weekend ahead with lots of mucho fun things planned like watching the Christmas lights being switched on in Manchester, as well as an engagement party to go to and a clothes swap! Whoooooo.
Anywho, I'd be lying if I pretended this outfit was worn a day or so ago as the halloween pics and bugs posted up behind me give the game away- just a tad. I forgot to post this outfit so it seemed a waste not to do so. I wore some comfy, cheap brown leggings with a lace polo neck top which was from ebay for £7. I teamed it with a brown shrug for warmth which was £5 from Manchester arndale market, as well as this classic eyeball print, Pretty Disturbia body con dress which is £34.99. I accessorised simply with some brown boots and this chunky, brown belt- which I don't remember buying! doh! x

A SNAKE, FLARES AND PUFFY SLEEVES!

Happy Hump Day! I can't believe its 10th November already. Seriously where has this year gone? I've come to the conclusion that time must have sped up without us knowing so I'm trying to get ahead by being more organised. For instance, I've started my christmas present wrapping! So hopefully, I wont be wrapping presents at the 12th hour on Christmas eve, like last year.... well, heres hoping hey!
Anywho. I wore this yesterday for a day in the office and a night at my mums. I wore a classic black poloneck top with this fab, puffy sleeved top from Primark. I wore my fave black split flared trousers from Morgan which were £50 back in the day. I accessorised with my silver snake necklace from Manchester's Christmas market last year with this diamante belt which was £2 on a dress from a car boot sale... for which I ditched the dress as it was tacky! I heart this belt though... Have a tip top night peeps, I'm off to ballet tonight! ;)

VINTAGE YELLOW KNITWEAR AND FLORAL TIGHTS!

Happy Weekend eve all! I had such a good time last night at the launch of The North Pole in Manchester. I do love Manchester to bits and all the lovely friendly faces I see on a daily basis!!
So, I wore this lil ensemble for a day with my in laws. My mother in law is tres glamorous so I always like to grab my pearls for a touch instant grown up class when I see her!
My black polo neck is from Primark, as are my quirky floral tights, which were reduced to £2. My Olive mini skirt was £7 from a little boutique in The Lake District and the lemon knitted top was from a charity shop for £4. I accesorised simply with pearls, a big black sequin ring and this brown chunky belt which was £1 on a car boot sale. My comfy,  pointy Suede brown boots were also purchased for £3 on a car boot sale- in new condition! A mucho bargain indeed! x

ALL SAINTS, VINTAGE JACKETS & FUR POM POMS!

I wore this the day yesterday as I was tres cold in the office- I even kept the jacket on all day. Winter is truly here now with the dark nights and need for my big fur coat, fully established!
So.... This outfit consists of my much loved All Saints skirt which was £80... lordy, its pricey for me but I do heart it. I teamed it with a cheap-off-the-market polo neck and this stunning vintage jacket from Rags to Bitches- £20 with a fur collar with pom poms which was £15 from Elite Dress Agency.
I popped on my grey marl leggings from Primark with my comfy black boots. I know I need to take down the Halloween decorations but I'm off to see Thriller tomorrow night at the theatre, so it seemed appropriate to keep them up!

A BELATED HAPPY HALLOWEEN PEEPS!

So what do you think? I'm supposed to be some kind of a devil queen.. .basically, its an outfit I made at Uni which I've never worn so I stuck some horns on and dark make up and thats about it...
The red dress was £10 in a charity shop- which is a tad pricey for second hand methinks but I do love it. Its stretch satin and long pencil length. I accessorised simply with my chunky bangle, for which I exchanged for some Pretty Disturbia high shine armlets later on that evening. My horns were £1 from the pound shop and came with a glittered fork too. My, how I do love pound shops.....

MORTICIA IN BLACK WITH A PASTY FACE!

Okay, So its not quite my usual kind of outfit. Yes I'm supposed to be Morticia Addams. Although, I think everyone at the fancy dress party just thought I was a witch! I enjoyed getting dressed up none the less! ;)
I wore this long black v-neck dress which was £2 on a car boot sale. It has a big diamante buckle which I covered with a piece of lace, and I popped this see through, sheer long cardigan over the top. Which I bought for just £10 from a cheap shop in 1998! ( Can you tell I don't clear out a lot!!)
I wore my patent high heel boots and some goth style necklaces to finish it all off... with some white face paint of course! A great night was had, and when people realised who I was, they did say I looked just like Morticia- whether I should take that as a compliment or not, I'm not quite sure! :)
