HATED JEANS & BOOB TUBES FOR CLEANING!

Okay, I'm tres naughty, not having blogged until last friday but I have just bought a new apartment which is in mucho need of work and TLC!

So, As a rule, I don't do jeans. 1. everyone wears them. 2. everyone wears them too much, 3. There just not comfy to wear and 4. I look weird in denim.
But, in order to clean my little flat on my hands and knees on Saturday I had to donn these Next ones which I've had about 10 years! I popped on a boob tube from ASOS, headscarf to match and some Primark pointy flats to add a touch of glamour, accessorising with some very heavy and unpractical drop earrings from Mikey and my classic gold and black Versace belt because, even when I'm cleaning I want to feel glamorous.
Safe to say after tip runs and a day of cleaning in the hot sunshine, I did not look at all glamorous at the end of the day and happily ditched the jeans for a pencil skirt as soon as I could!

PURPLE LACE, GOLD & PEEP TOES!

I feel like falling asleep in this hot sunshine, is it just me?
It does'nt very well help that I'm detoxing so eating next to nothing and cutting out caffeine... doh.

Anywho, I wore this little outfit on Sunday to go to a Christening in Failsworth and a BBQ in Sale as It was glorious weather! The outfit consists of this lovely lace dress from New Look which was just £7 in the sale. I added a vintage 80s choker and my Versace belt to accessorise. I then popped on my little purple peeps toe heels to finish it all off. Now, I think I'm going to pop the kettle on because my body is craving a good ol' cuppa tea as opposed to my crappy herbal teas or any more water.... So why not indeed?

I popped on a grey shrug, zebra print head scarf (£2-Afflecks) with a white leather belt and my DKNY bag with my vintage Kurt Geiger's which I just can't take off at the moment!
Now, I'm off to find my gym pumps and trying to stop thinking about crisps and cheese..... :(

Well I have lots to do today as I have 2 big meetings so I'll keep this sweet and petite...

I wore this little outfit to a joint 30th at Tiger Tiger on Saturday at the Boogie Wonderland club upstairs. Its a great night if you want to step back in time and listen to all the 80's classics. Anywho, the outfit consists of the vintage ruffle ra-ra dress, which I last wore on New Years eve. I teamed it with an animal print belt I bought from a car boot sale for £1 with some cheap and cheerful beads and a red rose necklace, also £1!. I also popped on some classic red peep toe shoes to finish it off and this classic monochrome blazer from Zara, which I rolled back the sleeves of.
By 3.30am, I was indeed walking home bare foot and craving my slippers, and looking a tad disheveled as you can imagine...

BANANA WOMAN & 80S BLAZERS!

I hope you all had a fine and dandy bank holiday weekend? I had lots of things planned but ended up staying in for one reason or another, which actually made a nice change.

I wore this outfit yesterday for a a drink at Mulligans,( the old Irish pub of Deansgate) The ensemble, consists of some high shine navy leggings from a market stall in London £3, teamed with an old loved pair of yellow boots from River Island, A Pretty Disturbia cream doll face side seam vest dress £34.99 and this vintage blazer which was £2 from a car boot sale and is original 1980's. I accessorised with a yellow bag from New Look and my snake necklace from Portabello road market. I don't wear yellow a lot these days, due to the fact it seems to cause a lot anger/ laughter in people when I wear it! Resulting in verbal abuse on the streets of Manchester, such as "Banana Woman!" or laughter and pointing?! mad huh... its only a colour after all!
