Happy Bank Holiday Friday Peeps! I'm so glad its finally here! I hope you have a nice one planned? And are not working most of it like moi...

Well I wore this Yesterday to go out for dinner at Pizza Express and then onto drinks at Centro In Manchester, which was fab! The outfit consists of a punky animal print dress from River Island which I paid £2 on a car boot sale for, teamed with black leggings and these fab vintage patent 80's boots and matching belt, both of which I got from Vintage shops in Manchester for about £5 each! I popped my hair in a bobble, smeared on some pale lippy and bronzer for a sun kissed glow...

1K+ ACCESSORIES WITH A £1.50 DRESS!

Happy weekend eve peeps! Is it just me or is this week dragging?? Well I wore this outfit yesterday to go to Yo Sushi for dinner and onto a fashion show at my secondary school which my (very talented) cousin took part in! I had a fab time and it was great to see just how small my school was and how it has'nt changed at all in the 14 years since I left!....

Anywho, moody face here, above wears this lovely jumper dress with puffy sleeves which I picked up from a car boot sale for £1.50. I teamed it with some simple black leggings and my over the knee- very fabulous- leather, studded Carvella boots (£300), with my much loved investment piece Armani bag £600, a Versace belt and some simple black beads to finish it off. Its amazing how you can spend £1000+ on accessories and still feel nice with a dress for £1.50!......

PUNKY CHAINS, LAYERS & GLADIATORS!

Well it was my baby sisters birthday yesterday! She is in fact now 28, but she will always be a little baby sister to me. Where indeed does the time go?...

Anywho, I wore this yesterday which is all about the layers and actually looks quite punky.
It consists of a black cut out shoulder top I've had since I was about 16, with a grey vest on top from H&M for £7, teamed with a Primark, gathered skirt and floral print leggings. I popped on my fave gladiator sandals with an oversized bag I booted from a car boot sale for just £1.50 and my fave snake necklace from portabello road market in London.
Make up wise, I have grey mac eyeshadow and eye liner with a cheap white lipstick and a touch of bronzer to keep it natural.

70S MARGO FROM THE GOOD LIFE!

Hi All! I hope your all enjoying the beautiful British sunshine of late?
It's so nice to finally grab something summery out of the back of my, somewhat winter dominating wardrobe!

On Sunday I wore this dress to go to a car boot sale in and for a leisurely walk round Dunham Massey (Cheshire, National Trust property/ gardens.)
My dress was just £3 from Retro Rehab in Manchester and is a very 70s original! It was discounted for having a stain on which I managed to remove! It fits me perfectly and is tres comfy so I love it.
I popped on some flip flops, with a diamante black ring from H&M, some vintage sunglasses and some odd black earrings so match the asymmetrical shoulder design, and there you have it. Very "Margo" from the Good Life methinks!

PEEP TOES, HEART NECKLINES & LACE!

Happy Hump Day peeps! Well, I hope your week is going well so far! I personally am overfaced by my workload after being away from the office for nearly 2 weeks! I did have mucho fun though so I should'nt really complain...

Anywho, I bought this lovely purple lace dress last week from a H&M in Brighton for just £7 in the sale! I teamed it with a vintage neck scarf worn as a belt and a simple black shrug from portabello road market for £5. I am also wearing a chunky gold bangle which you cant see and these tan leather peep toe shoes which hurt like hell but I'm determined to wear in for summer! I popped my hair in a side knot thing and of course popped on some red lippy to match my nails to finish it off. I think I look particularly summery for May with my fake tan and burnt legs from naughtily sun burning in Croatia... eek.

Its holiday eve again for me! As I'm excitedly off to Croatia tomorrow for a hen do weekend! Therefore I have got lots to do before I go, like packing and getting my mucho large workload reduced....

However, I did find the time to go out for dinner last last night to one of my fave little Italians in Manchester called Destinos's so I wore this little outfit, which consists of a trompe l'oeil printed tee with a fake corset on from Peacocks with the Pretty Disturbia lace print gather skirt £44.99, a vintage red belt and this fabulously useful grey shrug, which was £10 from Portabello road market, London. I teamed it with some black leggings and slouchy small black boots.
Now, time to pack my bags whilst I grab something to eat and plan all my mix and match holiday outfits!... exciting!

PURPLE HAZE!

I hope you all had a mucho fabulous Bank Holiday weekend? I've had a fun filled one, which started in Sheffield on Friday, led to a Christening in Wigan, a meal/ night out at the Lake district on my uncles boat (for which I now have motion sickness from) and then a trip to Preston last night! Not forgetting I was in London this Thursday just gone and this coming Thursday I'm off to Croatia for a hen do! I'm tres tired but its been fabulous few days. Life is after all, about having fun and celebrating methinks...

So, this little ensemble is very purple and consists of a polo neck from H&M, some leggings to match, with an unusual skirt which was a one off Pretty Disturbia pre-production sample. I teamed it with this gorgeous mock leather lilac jacket/blazer from Morgan which I've just sold on ebay for £10. I popped on some black over the knee boots with a designer studded bracelet to finish it off. A viola, a big ol' purple haze.
