I MET GRACE JONES LAST NIGHT!

Well, I'm exhausted with only 2 hours sleep but it was well worth it to meet the very fabulous, Grace Jones last night! Pretty Disturbia, sponsored her after party at MAYA night club in London and it was a fabulous night! I definately made an impression on her after knocking a champagne glass at her feet as I knocked the table with my bag. I am a clumsy oaf indeed. She then shoo-ed me away from her and re-fused to talk to me, wit her 2 bouncers giving me evil stares! I later saw her pointing at me telling someone about the incident so I went over to apologise, explained how I was a fashion designer who sponsored her after show party, and told her what a big fan of hers I was as I gave her a goodie bag of Pretty Disturbia clothing, for which was very grateful indeed and asked for my number! I asked if I could politely have one picture taken with her, to which she agreed but only for one with a light flash.... I got a blurred one atleast! She really was every bit quirky and fabulous in real life as I thought she would be!

Anywho, I wore this to go out in, as a punky glam look, though I do I think I may have crossed over into drag queen/ Hooker territory instead! The dress is the sexy body con Pretty Disturbia number in black £42.99, which I teamed with our armlets also £17.99, with fishnet tights and my Carvella studded leather boots £385 to contrast with some cheap gold earrings from the market for £2!
SO there you have it... the outfit I wore when I got shoo-ed away by Grace Jones. Not too shabby indeed.

EBAY BARGAINS & MOODY FACES!

I look moody as hell on the picture, and I really was'nt feeling it! haha.. O well. It seems I have another thing for animal print again, thus I wear it again- 2 days running!

The top, which you can hardly see is from Topshop and was about £30, I added a white leather belt from River island, with a tutu skirt from Topshop, patterned tights and this new jacket which I bought from Ebay for just £15 and it is one I always wanted from Morgan when I worked there as a teenager but could'nt afford it at £80! I'm so pleased I finally own one- although my expression hardly reflects that!! Anywho, I wore my black rose ring and some over the knee black boots to finish off the outfit!
Now... Time to pack, I'm off to London tonight to (hopefully) meet Grace Jones. TRES excited.

BLACK AND BLUE BODY CON BRIGHTS!

I hope you had a fab weekend? I indeed had an amazing one! I had a lovely time in Edinburgh and even bought a gorgeous new car!!! Well, when I say its new- its a classic and rare bright red XJRS Jaguar with cream leather interior and walnut dash, and its totally beautiful....

Anywho, I think I've been wearing red so much due to my thoughts on the car so I wore this oober different blue ensemble to break the habit! It consists of the Pretty Disturbia dip dye leggings £22.99, with the matching body con drips dress £43.99, with a jacket that unbelievably matched perfectly, and was originally from Primark a few years ago.
I kept it simple with so much bright blue by leaving accessories to a minimal with a small band ring, and my over the knee black boots. Its not often I wear head to toe royal blue, but what the heck, its nice to be bold and bright sometimes...

SCARLET RED AGAIN & TOPS AS SKIRTS!

Well, I'm completely nervous as I type as I'm going to be on a question panel this evening for an MFN Making it: Fashion design event! I'm not great in front of groups of people and I blush a lot... Not a good combination!

So, yesterday I wore this unusual ensemble to a fabulous burlesque show which consists of a skirt, which is in fact a long top, a black vest which was a dress, and a corset, which is underwear but I wore out anyway!
I could'nt really tell you how much I paid for any of it but I know the corset is Marks and Spencers!
I accessorised with red lippy and some lovely Tiffany beads for a touch of designer style with a mad, mis match of clothes and popped on some high shine patent boots.
Right, time to dash- heres hoping I don't keep up the red theme and blush all through tonights event! eeek.
Wish me luck...

Well, I hope you're having a dandy day and enjoying the sunshine, even if you are cooped inside and sat at a desk! Is'nt it just fabulous to have the light evenings and bright sun shining again after such a long miserable winter?...

Yesterday, I wore this bright little outfit. It seems I am inspired to wear lots of colour now the sun is shining! I love to wear Royal Blue and it's set to be big for SS10 which is why I designed mix and match pieces using the same fabrics for the Pretty Disturbia Spring collection. As left, the vest is a Pretty Disturbia classic, costs £24.99 and is really unusual with buttons and ribbons to decorate. I teamed it with matching royal blue leggings £22.99.
