Preppy knit

Todays look is quite preppy for me! As usual, everything I'm wearing is second hand. I wore this 70s red polo-neck with a grey jumper from Karen Millen as well as this checked kilt which is very Vivienne Westwood-esque!.  I popped on my sock boots which are right on trend again! Xx

APACHE INDIAN!

Well It's Monday again...doh. I hope you all had a lovely weekend? Mine was very busy with a classic car show, a trip to a Victorian village, a date, and a car boot sale. I'm exhausted now! haha.
Anywho, I wore this one Saturday a few weeks ago for my friends 30th party. The theme was cowboys and Indians and as I've never dressed up as an Indian I opted for that. It was a good choice as I only spent £4 on my outfit! I already had the leggings, the top brown top from Morgan, the net top from Karen Millen, a brown belt, my cowboy boots and a tassle necklace from BHS! The only things I had to buy were my headband, earrings and bone necklace from Loveyababes fancy dress shop in Manchester! I love it when a plan comes together!...

PURPLE STRIPES WITH BIG ORANGE BOWS AND SHINY GATHERS!

Well, this outfit title sounds mad, even though the outfit itself, is not that adventurous! I wore this beautiful Karen Millen shirt yesterday which I got from a charity shop in Oxford for £10. I teamed it with a lovely satin orange neck bow and this black gather skirt from Primark ( which I always get complimented on!) with my Dune over the knee boots for a busy day in the office, followed by my homemade chilli con carne for tea, a long hot bath and some Will & Grace re-runs. It sounds totally boring, but was absolute bliss as Its been such a busy few weeks, I'm in need of a little stop and breathe time! :)

RAINBOW SPLASHES & SHRUGS!

I hope you had a super dandy weekend? I had a lovely sunshine filled one in Surrey which was just delightful! It really feels like Spring has now finally sprung with summer not far behind!

This outfit reflects the summery brightness I was feeling yesterday, with a slight hint of fear it might snow again at any point (thus the big winter boots- just in case!)
The halterneck is a classic pink number from Karen Millen for £39.99, teamed with a colourful splash print netted skirt from primark for £15, (purchased last summer). I popped on a turqouise shrug to match from the MFN Designer sample sale for £20 and a chunky necklace again from the sale for just £4. This is a good combination of designer items with discount pieces! How I do love a bargain....

TIGER PRINT, RED LIPS & BIG SHOULDERS!

Well, I hope you all had a fine and dandy weekend? I did indeed, still celebrating the fact I'm 29 +1!... any excuse to celebrate!

This is what I wore on my Birthday evening last Thursday for a Family meal in Room on King street and then onto Restaurant, Bar & Grill for cocktails. My outfit consists of a body con animal print dress from Karen Millen, which was £75 in the sale, with a suit jacket from Primark, £20, Studded, leather Carvella Birthday boots, which were £280 and I accessorised with a stunning Tiffany's Bracelet and Necklace as well as some heavy vintage style Make-up from Mac.
I felt very glam until my red lippy wore off and smudged and the hem on my dress came down.... It seems my attempt to be more glamorous in my 30's is failing somewhat! You just can't take the clumsy, Manchester Lass out of me no matter how old I am!

KAREN MILLEN, COCKTAILS & WITCHY BOOTS!

Well, I had a lovely evening last night at an exclusive Karen Millen fashion show and cocktail night in Manchester, where Nick Ede From Project Catwalk gave styling tips for the season and I managed to chat make up to Lisa Eldridge who even commented on my eyemake up as looking nice! ....A compliment indeed, from a make up artist for the stars!
I had the most delicious mint, wine and Disaronno cocktail, I'd have to say its the nicest cocktail I've ever had! Disaronno has now, been newly added to my (ever growing) Christmas list!

I wore this ensemble which consists of a classic black polo neck and leggings, my much love All Saints handkerchief hem skirt £70, Pretty Disturbia sheer, satin binding jacket £74.99, teamed with my high heel witchy boots and pearls from Marks and Spencers £15. The boots seemed a good idea at the time but after being stood up all evening and then out until 12 around Manchester, Maybe slightly smaller heels would have been a more practical idea!....
